Sprig
Why Sprig exists

A food map
we build together.

The internet has a commons for almost everything. Trails we maintain together. Community gardens. Libraries. Wikipedia. Places that only work because we all add a little.

There isn’t one for food. So the knowledge stays scattered, in your memory, your texts, your group chats. Everyone re-learns the same answers, one person at a time.

Sprig is that commons for food. A long shared table, and a seat saved for you.

There’s no single right way to eat

Everyone’s welcome at the table.

Organic, kosher, vegan, gluten-free, carnivore, allergy-safe. Every way of eating is valid, and every one carries its own questions: what can I eat here, what do they serve, what do they source.

Those answers exist. People know them. But they’re scattered across a thousand little islands, separate sites, separate lists, the same questions asked over and over.

Sprig isn’t the organic app or any one diet’s app. It’s the shared map underneath them all.

There’s no “good food” or “bad food” here, no scores, no rankings. Sprig doesn’t decide what matters. You do.

We can’t each map the whole world of food. But together, we can feed each other.

You add a place you love and confirm what it serves. A stranger across the country finds it the day they need it. Tomorrow, someone does the same for you. (Your own notes stay private. Only you ever see them.)

How it works

No new habits. Just your food, on a map.

  1. 1

    Pick what matters to you

Organic, gluten-free, peanut-free, grass-fed, pasture-raised, raw milk, no seed oils, vegan, kosher, halal. Whatever you care about. That’s your food profile. It doesn’t need to be perfect; it grows as you go.

  2. 2

    Search like you always do

“Burger.” “Matcha.” “Groceries.” Or a place: your neighborhood, Burlington, a city you’re visiting. The map answers the real question: what can I eat around here?

  3. 3

    Layer your values on top

One tap turns “burger” into grass-fed burger, “matcha” into organic matcha. A familiar search, with food meaning added.

  4. 4

    Build your food map

One question per place: “How much would you eat here?” All, Most, or Some puts it on My Map; Nothing takes it off. Favorites, lists, notes, and photos make it yours.

  5. 5

    Eat together

Share how you eat with people you choose. Your map + their map = where you can all eat together. Like comparing calendars, but for food.

Start with one place

Drop one spot you love. You’re in.

Think of one place. The little grocery with the good stuff. The spot you trust with your kid’s allergy. The café your mom would adore. Add it in a tap.

That’s a real contribution. Someone, somewhere, was looking for exactly that.

Add one place you love.
That’s how it starts.

Or start with one value, or one search. One spot at a time, together we’re building the world’s shared memory of food.

They save to your profile and apply on every visit. Then search near you, or add a place you love.
